How to create a server container¶
AdPulse dashboard in Portuguese
The AdPulse dashboard interface is only available in Portuguese. The labels quoted in the steps below are exactly what you see in the product.
Prerequisites¶
- An AdPulse account with the Server GTM feature enabled on your plan.
- The configuration string of a server-type container in Google Tag Manager. If you do not have one yet, follow How to get the GTM container configuration string.
Step by step¶
- Sign in to the AdPulse dashboard at app.adpulse.com.br.
- In the side menu, open Server GTM → Contêineres.
- Click Novo contêiner (or Criar seu primeiro contêiner if the list is empty).
- Fill in Nome do contêiner with a name that identifies the site or its purpose — for example,
My site. - Paste the string into the Configuração do contêiner GTM box.
- Click Criar contêiner and wait for the confirmation.
As soon as the container is created, the dashboard opens its page already showing the ID do contêiner and the integration instructions. Save that ID: it is what you will enter in the WordPress plugin.
What happens next¶
Provisioning is asynchronous. You get the confirmation immediately and the server is created right after — it usually takes a few seconds. The container status tracks the process:
| Status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Pendente | The container has been registered and is waiting for provisioning to start. | Wait a few seconds and refresh the page. |
| Provisionando | The server is being created. | Wait. You do not need to restart anything. |
| Ativo | The server is live and ready to receive requests. | Continue to the integration step below. |
| Erro | Provisioning failed. | Check the error message shown on the container card and try again. |
| Bloqueado | The container stopped receiving traffic because of an account or plan restriction. | Check your plan and, if the problem persists, contact support. |
| Suspenso | The container is temporarily disabled. | Contact AdPulse support. |
The status can change quickly
Between Pendente and Provisionando there are usually only a few seconds. If the container stays in Erro, the message shown on the card says what went wrong — it is the first thing to look at.
Configure the server in Google Tag Manager¶
Once the container is Ativo, its page shows the server's public URL — use the URL displayed there.
- In Google Tag Manager, open Administração → Configurações do contêiner.
- Paste the server URL into the URL do servidor de tags (Server container URL) field.
- Click Salvar.
- Use the GTM Visualizar button to confirm that the server responds.
The full step-by-step, including using a custom domain instead of the shared URL, is in How to get the tag server URL for GTM.
Where this URL comes from
The current format is https://cdn.turbo-ssl.com/c<id>/, where <id> is your container number. It appears ready-made on the container page and in the integration instructions — prefer copying it from there rather than typing it.
WordPress integration¶
If your site runs on WordPress, the AdPulse plugin forwards requests from your own domain to the tag server, keeping the scripts first-party.
Track usage¶
The container page shows the month's requests and your plan's limit. The numbers are synced from the tag server every 5 minutes and reset on the first day of each month.
- Requisições — every request the container receives counts as one.
- Limite — set by your plan; new containers start at 10,000 requests per month.
- Bloqueado — reaching the plan limit stops the container from receiving traffic.
